Project:  Bulkhead Erosion Repair

Details:  Client was experiencing soil loss on their bulkhead wall.   They tried replacing the soil, installing concrete and rock, to no avail.  The problem persisted.   During our inspection we found holes and cracks in the wall and open joints between the concrete panels, which allowed soil loss every time it rained.   To compound the challenge they faced, the side of the yard drained to this location.    We sealed the wall and filled the voids by injecting our single component polyurethane grout.   We installed a grated drainpipe to allow surface water to drain and installed filtered weep drains in the wall sections to alleviate hydrostatic pressure build up while preventing future soil loss.   The homeowner will no longer have to haul wheelbarrow loads of dirt, rocks and concrete to their bulkhead to fill in holes.
